Yukari Saito Kouchi
Born in Japan and grew up in Guam, Singapore and Japan. She came to Los Angeles and graduated with a BFA in illustration from Otis Parsons College of Design. She has worked as an illustrator for different companies internationally. She soon developed love for ceramics, jewelry making, and dry felt sculpting. She has taught jewelry making for 10 years at PVPUSD, and children’s ceramics for 2 years at Palos Verdes Art Center. She has won numerous awards in illustration and ceramics, and has exhibited paintings and ceramics internationally. She is bilingual in Japanese and English.
